Ma'a Nonu stays on with New Zealand Rugby Union

The All Black centre Ma'a Nonu has turned down an offer to play rugby league with Wests Tigers and has re-signed with the New Zealand Rugby Union.

The 25-year-old, who's played 18 tests , was dropped for this year's Tri-Nations and the Rugby World Cup.

Nonu was believed to be close to signing with the Wests Tigers but the Sydney club's recruitment manager Warren McDonnell says he's told them he's decided to stay in rugby union with the Hurricanes.
