American Samoa's Governor, Togiola Tulafono, says his cabinet spends too much time travelling and not enough time at the office.

The governor has warned directors that they are travelling too much.

According to the governor, some directors spend 80 per cent of the time travelling.

From now on, directors have been asked by the governor to give lower level employees the opportunity to go on off-island training.
