The police in Solomon Islands are investigating a case involving stocks of illegal cigarettes seized from Chinese business houses in Honiara.
Police sources say so far they have seized 150 cartons worth about 70 thousand US dollars in customs duties, but police believe thousands were destroyed by the accused.
Police say they believe the cigarettes were smuggled in from mainland China.
