A one-year extension of tax credits for American Samoa's canneries has been proposed in a bill introduced in the US House of Representatives.
The tax credits are due to expire at the end of this year.
The extension's been attached to a bill that would provide additional tax relief for low income families, repeal the individual alternative minimum tax, reform corporate income tax.
