The Samoa rugby league side will make a final bid for a place in next year's Rugby league World Cup when it takes on Lebanon mid week in England.

The two sides will battle for the last place available in the ten team competition after repechage qualifying wins over the weekend in England.

Samoa tamed a courageous USA Tomahawks side 42-10 while Lebanon upset Wales 50-26.

Lebanon trailed 20-10 early in the second half but found another gear to rout Wales at Widnes.

Wales, World Cup semi-finalists in 1995 and 2000, lost out to Scotland on points difference in their qualifying group and were forced to the repechage.
