The Fiji National Rugby League board has appointed former national rep and coach - Jo Dakuitoga as the new Bati coach to take the side to next year's world cup in Australia.

Dakuitoga replaces Australia's Arthur Kitinas.

Dakuitoga is no stranger to the job and he had coached Fiji Bati to beat Samoa during the World Cup qualifiers and win the gold medal at the Pacific Games.

FNRL Chairman - Peni Musunamasi welcomed the appointment saying he deserves it after his dedication to the sport.
