The Oceania Netball President, Tina Browne, from the Cook Islands says they're now looking to the World Youth championships in Rarotonga in 2009 after a successful campaign by the national team.

The Cook Islands netball side moved from 11th on the world rankings to 7th at the recent world netball championships in Auckland.

Browne says that's excellent for the 2009 tournament and adds they have a pool of players in the Cook Islands ready to go.

"We also have a pool in New Zealand, there's a pool of our players that are at school in New Zealand so we are going to be working from a great pool of players, what we need to do is to sort out when we start, and what is going to happen for the next two years."
