The P&O Maritime Services PNG Limited and PNG Dockyard have combined to generate more employment through a spin-off business in vessel dry-docking.
P & O Country manager, John Hulse, told the newspaper, the National that increased exports was creating more of a demand for shipping.
He said two of Papua New Guinea's leading maritime operators had reached agreements to dry-dock vessels over the next three years.
