A new restaurant will open its doors in American Samoa next monday, employing one hundred people, and promising a difference from other chains.

Carl's Jnr will be the fifth fast food restaurant to open in the territory.

Barry Forsgren who owns the franchise says it is ready and this week the 100 employees are going through trial runs and training with a team from California.

"The real big push is that Carl's Jnr offers premium burgers at fast food prices. It's a sit down restaurant, with table service, everything you would expect in a restaurant, but in the fast food price range."
