Fiji's interim Prime Minister Commander, Frank Bainimarama, says he is in no rush to announce his reshuffled Cabinet despite having said it would be made public on 1 December.

In a Radio Fiji News report, Commander Bainimarama says an announcement could be made next week or the following.

Plans are in place to reduce the size of Cabinet from 17 to 13 and to include several State or assistance ministers.

Prior to the 23 November Budget, several ministries were merged and some renamed, leaving some interim ministers without ministries.
