A Solomon Islands Cabinet Minister has died at the National Referral Hospital in Honiara.
Samuel Bently Ragosomani was Minister for Tourism and Culture in the Sogavare Government which was voted from power yesterday.
He was the MP for Lau Mbaelelea in Malaita and is the third Malaitan MP to pass away during the current term of Parliament.
Mr Ragosomani, who was admitted to hospital early this week, did not vote on yesterday's no confidence motion.
