A police investigator in Samoa is calling on the Supreme Court to re-consider granting bail to alleged sex offenders.
A man facing charges of indecent assault and rape allegedly murdered his wife while out on bail.
The investigator says the defendant was released last week after an application from his defence lawyer.
The officer says the Judges should consider keeping offenders of sex cases in custody until the end of the court proceedings.
The police are still looking for a man who ran away after the killing took place.
