The history making Fiji men's triples are enjoying their Silver medal performance against Scotland at the World Bowls championships in Christchurch at the weekend.

Samuela Tui, Keshwa Gounder and Curtis Mar who are the first team to pick up a medal at a world bowls event, had a dream run leading up to the finals but lost narrowly 16-14.

However, manager Abdul Kalim says this is only the start and he's looking for more success this week

"We have got a couple of players who have played in the last couple of World Bowls events, Keswha Gounder he is the captain of the fours and triples team in Scotland where they didn't do that great, but I mean he was really fired up for this bowl event, we haven't seen the best of Fiji yet, let's put it that way."
