A top American military commander is on a visit to American Samoa.
The Commanding General of the 9th Regional Readiness Command Brigadier General Alexander Kozlov is on an annual trip to visit with the local Army Reserve.
The Brigadier General, who is believed to be the only general of American Russian descent in the US military, says he wants to find out from soldiers and their families any issues or concern that they might have.
He will also discuss the alert order for the two combat units, Bravo and Charlie companies, due to be deployed later this year.
