Papua New Guinea faces huge hurdles in Kuala Lumpur

10:19 am on 14 February 2008

The Papua New Guinea cricketers not only have a tough draw but they need to adapt quickly to the cricket surface at the Under 19 World Cup tournament in Malaysia starting this weekend.

PNG have been drawn against India, West Indies and South Africa in Group B.

Captain Colin Amini says the side is adapting quickly and they do have insider help

"Ah yes it is different, I don't know it's really hard to face the turf and everything with synthetic back at home so but we're getting used to it, there's a few guys that have played on it before, so with that experience we help each other."
