Chinese business people to look at opportunities in Fiji next week

Fiji's Ambassador to China, Sir James Ah Koy, is to lead a group of Chinese business people on a 10-day visit to Fiji from next Wednesday.

The interim Government says it is another opportunity to strengthen the Fiji-China relationship and to realize the benefits that can be derived through this association.

It says the Chinese delegation will look at ethanol and low cost housing projects and explore opportunities for investment in agriculture, manufacturing and tourism.

The Government recently launched a Fiji/China Business Council to help build trade and economic links between the two countries.
