The Solomon Islands football team Kossa FC has gone to the top of Group B after beating Fiji side Ba in their Oceania Football Confederation O-League match at Lawson Tama Stadium in Honiara yesterday.

An own goal by Malakai Kainihewe after 7 minutes and a second from Solomon Islands international and FIFA Beach Soccer hero James Naka after 10 minutes set the tone for Kossa and the home crowd of 12-thousand.

Ba can stil make the final but will need Solomons and Vanuatu to draw in their next match.

Meanwhile Waitakere United look on target to make the final, after two wins and a draw head Group A.

However, Auckland City still have a chance with two games in hand, but must beat Waitakere in the return match in April after losing the first match one - nil, and their away match to Tahiti's Manu Ura next month.
