A former Solomon Airlines Financial controller is warning that Solomon Airlines is flying into a new crisis.

The Solomon Star reports that Koraua Baoro says if the management of the airline isn't improved, newcomers SkyAirWorld could put Solomon Airlines out of business.

Mr Baoro highlighted this as Brisbane-based SkyAirWorld prepares to fly the Brisbane-Honiara-Brisbane route.

He says the airline is facing a cash flow problem and unless management is improved the local airline industry will collapse.
