Reports from the Papua New Guinea province of Bougainville say the region suffers from a fuel shortage.
The newspaper, The National, says petrol is now out of stock in all service stations and diesel is also running out fast in Buka town and Arawa.
The shortage has affected business operation of sea taxis that provide transport service to the general public across Buka Passage.
