The Fiji Media has been advised that they can not call the interim Prime Minister Commodore Frank Bainimarama any more.

Fiji Live online says a statement from the Prime Minister's Office stated that all media queries to the interim Prime Minister should be directed to the Department of Information.

The statement went on to say, please do not make calls directly to the interim prime minister on his cell phone.

The military has likewise asked that all queries to Commodore Bainimarama in his capacity as Fiji's army commander be directed to the military media cellphone.

The interim prime minister's secretary Parmesh Chand explains that the interim Prime Minister has a busy schedule.

Last week, Commodore Bainimarama was to host a press conference to announce the findings of the inquiry that reviewed the tax details of his Finance Minister Mahendra Chaudhry.

After a delay of an hour, the interim Attorney General instead fronted the media.
