Oceania Pacific heading to Oman for Davis Cup tie

The three Oceania region teams begin their second round of Davis Cup 2008 next week.

The Pacific Oceania team who are looking for their first away win will play Oman in Muscat.

Captain Cyrille Mainguy has named the same team which won Pacific Oceania's first ever home tie against Lebanon in 2005.

Solomon Islands star Michael Leong heads the team along with Samoa's Juan Langton, Vanuatu's Cyril Jacobe and the returning Brett Baudinet from the Cook Islands.

New Zealand are away to Kuwait in a group 2 semi final with the winners going on to the final to play off for promotion to Group 1.

Australia host Thailand in a Group 1 semi-final in Townsville and a win will see them contest the World group play-offs in September.
