Turkey has invited the foreign ministers of 11 Pacific Island Forum countries, including Fiji, for talks in Istanbul.
The Turkish foreign ministry says the issues to be raised include development assistance, climate change and its effects, coping with natural disasters, as well as tourism.
The ministry says those invited will be represented at the ministerial level and the others at the level of high representative.
