Samoa cabinet to discuss ways to stop school violence

The Samona cabinet will discuss ways to stop further school violence following last week's brawl in Apia.

This was the concluded at a meeting between the Prime Minister, Tuila'epa Sa'ilele Malielegaoi, and principals of both government and Catholic Church schools involved in the violence which left students and police injured.

The police commissioner, Papalii Lorenese Neru, is expected to ask members of the public to provide testimony of the incident to help the police investigation.

The schools principals have been urged by Tuila'epa to continue advising students to keep the peace and stay away from troubles.

20 students of Don Bosco trades vocational school are still in police custody.
