The New Zealand batsman Ross Taylor says he was unaware that he was the first Samoan to play Test cricket at Lords.
Taylor who scored 19 and 20 in the drawn first Test against England, says he found out about the milestone by chance

I didn't know that was the case but no it's great, but I don't think it means a hell of a lot, I'm probably more happy to play for New Zealand thanks but at the same time it is a good honour as well.
