The mentor for the Fiji Under 20 rugby union side says there's still a lot to work on ahead of the IRB world cup in Wales next month.

Rayne Simpson says they have a tough draw but have some good warmup matches coming up in Australia after beating Tonga A in the firstwarm-up match in Fiji last weekend.

"We're in the same pool as England and Australia, we started our preparation in December and played our first warmup match against Tonga on Saturday night, they played pretty well and we've got some areas that we need to improve on still."

The team will leave for Sydney on Friday before heading to Wales, where they join other Pacific nations, Samoa and Tonga.
