Save the Children Fiji has confirmed that thirteen hundred students from four schools in Vatukoula are in need of assistance.
The Chief Executive Officer, Chandra Shekhar, said students are not able to pay their bus fares and some come to school without their lunch.
He says they have designed a 5 week programme where the needy children will be provided with return bus fares and lunch.
