Melanesian Spearhead Group Foreign Ministers are meeting in Port Vila today.
They are scheduled to discuss reports of various sub-committee meetings held since last week in Vanuatu's capital.
There's expected to be an overview of political and security developments in the MSG region.
Also up for discussion will be the possible establishment of an MSG sub regional security force, and whether to grant West Papuans of Indonesia observer status at the group.
