New Zealand's Pacific Island Affairs Minister and the Statistics Minister have welcomed visiting statisticians from the Pacific.
The visit is part of Statistics New Zealand's Strategy for Building Statistical Capability in Pacific Island Countries and Territories.
Visiting Heads of Statistical Offices and Planners from Tokelau, Niue and the Cook Islands have been attending workshops designed to share information about statistical methods and technologies, statistical management and governance policy.
