American Samoan businesses now have an avenue to promote their products and services year round via the Island Business link.
The new initiative by the US Department of Interior Office of Insular Affairs is a website to assist businesses in island territories.
The Office of Insular Affairs Island fellow for American Samoa, David Fedlam, will promote the link up and gather input from government and private sector officials on how to improve it.
"Island business owners will be able to post their business opportunities, post their information, a little bit of a description about what they do and what they hope to do, and in turn partner members from the United States, Australia or New Zealand or Asia, really world wide, can come on their as well, they can become members see the business opportunities and hope to make connections that way."
Mr Fedlam says Island Business Link is an offshoot of the investment opportunities conference.
