At least three people are dead and seventeen others are suffering from serious and minor injuries as a result of a bus accident in Samoa yesterday.
The bus, according to a passenger who escaped injuries, was carrying nearly 40 passengers at the time.
A passenger who escaped with only minor injuries says the driver lost control of the vehicle when it skidded off the cross- island road at Tiavi.
The bus, according to the passenger, rolled over and stopped on its roof.
The cause of the accident is being investigated by police, however the age of the bus is being blamed as one of the contributing factors.
