Athletes arrive in CNMI for the Oceania Athletics Grand Prix

Papua New Guinea athletes are showing that they are the ones to beat as athletes from around the region arrive for the Oceania Athletics Grand Prix in the Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas.

In warm up events on Saturday PNG athletes captured the glamour 100, high jump and 400 metres events, while the region's discus record holder Terapii Tapoki from the Cook Islands showed how tough she's going to be to beat.

The event starts proper on Thursday with teams from around the region including New Zealand and Australia striving to win gold for their respective countries.
