Free condoms will be provided to the 2,000 delegates attending to 10th Festival of the Pacific Arts in American Samoa.
With the assistance of the Secretariat of the Pacific Community, the hosting country is providing a package of information that includes condoms to be distributed to delegates.
Free condoms will also be made available at a health booth set up at the festival village.
SPC health official Robyn Drysdale says that the goal is to promote a safe and health festival not only for participants but for territorial residents.
The festival begins next week.
