Air France has announced that it will drop some flights on the Los Angeles to Tahiti route in the first part of next year.
The airline says six flights to Papeete will be dropped amid a fall in bookings.
It also says that the flight schedules for 2009 and 2010 will be restructured.
The only other airline linking Papeete to Los Angeles is Air Tahiti Nui after Air New Zealand dropped the service in 2006.
