The original deed of conveyance for the land in Samoa bought by author Robert Louis Stevenson, is up for sale.
The document, valued by its owner at one million US dollars, has the orginal handwritten notes of Robert Louis Stevenson and his lawyer at the time, Richard Hetherington Carruthers of Vailima.
The document's owner says while the asking price may be on the high side, the document is in good condition, and is an interesting part of Samoa's history.
