The American Samoa Government is to send a delegation to a real estate fair in California in a bid to find an investor to take over the rest of the government-owned Rainmaker Hotel property.

Part of the five-acre oceanfront property in Pago Pago is currently leased to Dateline Industries, which is owned by Tom and Taaloga Drabble.

The couple operates an upscale hotel and restaurant.

Since last year, the government has been trying to attract investors to develop the rest of the oceanside property.
