About 1,000 chairs, which were custom made for the coronation of Tonga's King George Tupou V, are now on sale.

The Kingdom's Secretary for Finance, 'Aisake Eke' says the chairs, in royal blue and scarlet red, were made in China with His Majesty's royal cipher embroidered on each chair.

They were used by guests who attended the coronation at the Centenary Church in Nuku'alofa.
