American Samoa congressman criticises Bush administration on Iraq

The American Samoan member of the US Congress, Faleomavaega Eni Hunkin, has criticised the Bush administration's engineering of the United States invasion on Iraq.

His comments come as 150 soldiers from the territory mobilise for the war in the next 60 days.

Faleomavaega shared his sentiments about the war in a speech at the Pago Pago Rotary club's weekly meeting.

He said the decision for the US to invade Iraq was made by a majority, but not a real majority.

He says the US was arrogant and ignorant in its actions, as it had no idea of the long feud that's been going on between the Shiites and the Sunnis.
