Solomon Islands National carrier, Solomon Airlines is now looking at offering special airfares on its domestic routes.
However, the General Manager of Commercial Services, Gus Kraus says the company is faced by the weakness of the Solomon dollar and rising fuel costs.
Mr Kraus says despite high operating costs, the airline is still looking at the possibility of special fares.
Last Friday, Mr Kraus announced special packages on its international route to
Brisbane for Solomon Islands passport holders.
