Solomon's new Education Minister promises improved tertary education

Solomon Islands' new Education Minister says tertiary education in the country is a priority.

Matthew Wale says as Minister he will be working to have quality higher education institutions in the country.

The minister says he will be pushing for the new University of the South Pacific campus to be set up in Honiara.

Mr Wale replaces Job Duddley Tausinga who has been moved to the Forestry Ministry replacing the jailed Sir Allan Kemakeza.
