American Samoa-based, Intersections-Crossroad Theatre for Youth, is among seven native organizations in American Samoa, Hawaii and Guam to benefit from a US$5.3 million grant awarded recently by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
This funding is to provide support for projects at the community level that will have a positive impact on the lives of Native children, youth and families.
The theatre group has been given nearly a million US dollars for three years to provide training to 50 youth in filmmaking, leadership and finance.
