Palau presidential candidate Elias Camsek Chin, the current vice president, and his running mate, Senator Alan Seid, have won Tuesday's presidential primary.
Pacific Magazine reports that the pair had a 245 vote lead over the second place team of attorney , Johnson Toribiong, and Delegate, Kerai Mariur.
Two other pairings were eliminated from the race.
The two leading teams will face off in the November 4th general election.
The paper says absentee votes still remain to be counted but are not expected to change the results.
Voter turnout was a low 53 per cent.
