A prominent Samoan lawyer based in Auckland, Iuni Sapolu, has been arrested and charged by Samoan police with obstruction during a drug raid at the lawyer's family accommodation business yesterday.
The raid, according to reports, found seven small cannabis plants and a number of marijuana seedlings hidden on a platform built in a tree.
Police say the lawyer's brother has also been charged with obstruction but no one has yet been charged in relation to the drug find.
