American Samoa's acting Governor, Faoa Ipulasi Sunia, has used his veto power to cut back on the Budget which became law late last night.
Faoa had slashed from the budget all of the changes made by the Fono, with the deletions amounting to nearly four hundred thousand dollars.
The biggest casualties are the Department of Public Safety, the Office of Property Management and the Public Defender.
