Fiji's interim Prime Minister says military best placed to protect all people of Fiji

Fiji's Interim Prime Minister Commodore Frank Bainimarama says the work done by the interim regime now is not about legality or illegality but about building the nation.

Speaking to Radio Fiji , Commodore Bainimarama was answering on going claims the interim regime is illegal.

Numerous calls have also been made by various people and political parties for the public not to support the interim government's efforts and work.

Commodore Bainimarama said the nation needs to move forward and could not be held back by criticisms.

He added the military is the only institution that protects all races and therefore is the only institution that can protect Fiji.
