The Indonesian Ambassador to the United States, Sudjadnan Parnohadiningrat, has asked for the help of America Samoa's Congressman, Faleomavaega Eni Hunkin, over 42 Indonesian fishermen being held in the territory.

Three other Indonesian fishermen are believed to be missing.

Faleomavaega says he has written to US Attorney General Michael Mukasey to request the FBI to investigate whether any federal laws have been violated.

Congressman Faleomavaega says he has been given information that there was foul play involved in the disappearance of the three fishermen.
