Another contingent of Samoa police has left for Solomon Islands, with advice from the Prime Minister, Tuilaepa Sailele Malielegaoi, not to engage in alcohol drinking sessions.
The eight police officers will serve with the international police force which has been in Solomon Islands for the past five years.
Tuilaepa's message comes after a Solomon Islands woman was killed last June as a result of a road accident caused by a Samoan police peace keeper who was at the wheel while under the influence of alcohol.
Last month, a Samoan officer was charged with manslaughter over the incident.
The prime minister has told the seven policemen and a woman officer it's better for them to stay away from drinking beer while out of the country to avoid troubles for the sake of Samoa's good name overseas.
