Tokelau's trust fund is set to reach more than 31 million US dollars after New Zealand gave its last colony a further nine million US dollars.
The trust is now four years old and has been established to provide the three atolls with an independent source of income.
As well as New Zealand, Australia, Britain and Tokelau itself have put money into the fund.
The contribution from New Zealand is in addition to annual aid assistance which is presently at eight point six million US dollars.
