The manager of the Pacific Islands Rugby union side, Sitiveni Rabuka, has been welcomed to West Minster Abbey along with the side that will face England at Twickenham on Sunday morning.

The former Major General is best known as the instigator of two military coups that overthrew the legally elected government in 1987.

Although the coups led to Fiji's expulsion from the Commonwealth, Mr Rabuka was later democratically elected Prime Minister from 1992 to 1999.

He says the visit to Westminister Abbey shows his past actions are well behind him

"Well I think it's a great experience for me personally to be on this ground, parliaments around the world don't like people like Sitiveni Rabuka going into their parliament but we've been welcomed here."
