There are no indications of the outcome of the meetings between Fiji's interim Prime Minister and officials from the Commonwealth secretariat and the United Nations.

Earlier this week, Commodore Frank Bainimarama had separate talks with the two delegates.

Commodore Bainimarama's Permanent Secretary, Parmesh Chand, says the envoys are meeting relevant stakeholders, including the ousted prime minister, to gather information relating to the President's Dialogue Forum.

He says he believes their meetings with Commodore Bainimarama went well.

"I was not in the meeting so I cannot give you any details on what was covered in the meetings but the brief was largely to talk about the political Dialogue Forum, and I guess that's what they would've talked about."

Parmesh Chand says they are now awaiting feedback from the Commonwealth and UN officials.

Fiji's ousted prime minister Laisenia Qarase is due to meet with the envoys this afternoon.
