Australia's ambassador to Micronesia makes first official visit to CNMI

Australia's ambassador to Micronesia will make her first official visit to the Northern Marianas today.

Susan Cox will meet with Governor Benigno Fitial at the governor's office.

Her four-day visit includes calls on Senate President Pete Reyes, acting Attorney General Gregory Baka and other government officials.

Susan Cox is the ambassador of Australia to the Federated States of Micronesia, Republic of Palau, and the Republic of the Marshall Islands.

She also serves as consul general to Guam and the Northern Marianas.

Susan Cox has served as deputy high commissioner in Port Vila from 1998 to 2001 and as vice-consul in Noumea from 1990 to 1993.

She also speaks French and Bislama.
